Q. Where are you located?
We are conveniently located off all major expressways.
MOUNT CLEMENS - is located just off of Exit 237 (North River Road, Mount Clemens) from I-94. Our address is 237 North River Road, Mount Clemens, MI 48043.
Q. What does it cost to come to Gibraltar Trade Center?
There is a $2 per car admission charge to enter the Trade Center. Check your local paper for special coupons for Friday admission. The General Market is free, individual trade shows or outside promoters in the Trade Show Area, that is, not the general market, may charge a separate admission fee. Most trade shows are open to the public free of charge.
Q. What are your hours?
Gibraltar Trade Center is open to the public Friday 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. -8:00 p.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The market office is open Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Friday as early as 8:30 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 a.m.

Q. Are your market vendors opened while you have trade shows?
Absolutely! Every week our regular businesses, which include, outdoor canopy (seasonal) vendors, indoor flea market businesses operate all the hours of the marketplace. The Trade Shows occur in our special 60,000 square foot area. Check our show schedule.
Q When does the outside market open?
The seasonal outdoor market place opens every spring in April and runs until October. Check out our web site for more information.
Q. Do you have strollers available to rent?
MOUNT CLEMENS - Not at this time.
Q. Do you have wheel chairs available?
MOUNT CLEMENS - Wheel chairs are available inside the Green (3) entrance. They are free to use while your visit our trade centers. We request that you leave a valid identification for use. However, we do not offer any motorized scooters.
Q. Do you allow pets in the trade center?
MOUNT CLEMENS - Does not allow pets. Service animals are always welcomed.
Q. Do you have a certain product, service etc. phone numbers for vendors?
Gibraltar has a wide range of vendors, from individual business owners to corporations that are here to advertise and/or liquidate merchandise. These vendors sell a variety of different products including cell phones, leather, furniture, jewelry, purses, toys, candles, clothing, antiques, collectibles, health products and personal services like eye brow waxing, toys, household products, decor, crafts, art, fortunes, tattoos and closeouts. It's Always an Adventure at Gibraltar Trade Center. We also host different trade shows in our exhibition area that specializes in certain products.

Q. How do I rent a space?
When you are ready, we would love to set an appointment to show you around the market. We are here to help you make the right choice and be successful. If you have any questions, our Mount Clemens office can be reached at 586-465-6440.
Q. Is Gibraltar Trade Center open on the weekdays?
During the Christmas Holidays, Gibraltar Trade Center has extended hours. Gibraltar Trade Center is open to the public Friday 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. -8:00 p.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The market office is open Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Friday as early as 8:30 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 a.m.
Although we are not open to the public for shopping Monday through Thursday, our Market Office is open to help you establish your business location. Come in thru the Red Entrance, where our Market Office is located. One of the Customer Service Representatives there will be able to show you around and answer any of your questions.
Q. What does it cost to rent inside space?
For new merchandise...rent in the General Market starts at just $30 a day or you can rent the entire three day weekend as little as $90.00. It is a basic 12' frontage by 6' deep space. It includes the space only. You may rent an 8' banquet table from us for $6.00 for the weekend or bring your own tables. Bring your own chairs since we do not provide chairs. Electricity is available at most booth locations. Again, market hours are currently Friday 12-9, Saturday 10-8 and Sunday 10-6.
For produce, plants, garage sale, used or resale items: We have an indoor flea market. Spaces rent for as little as$ 10 a day and you may rent an eight foot long banquet table to use for $6.00 each weekend or part thereof.
Q. Do I need a Sales Tax License to sell in the Market?
MOUNT CLEMENS - The City of Mount Clemens requires businesses to be locally licensed for a small fee; their license is good for one year, renewable in June. We have the forms here and our office staff will be happy to file this with the City for you.

For exhibitors who rent space for a short period of time, (less than four weeks), our Market Office can provide vendors with a Concessionaire's Sales Tax Return and Payment Form 2271 per P.A. 167 of 1933 and 122 of 1941 as amended (Rev. 11-06), at your request. This form can also be found on the State of Michigan Treasury's Web site. You are required to use this form each week to file the return and pay this tax to the State. You should retain a copy of this return for your records
Q. Do I have to reserve space?
Just come in the week of the weekend you would like to start renting to select a space. If you'd like to rent one day, come in that morning before we open to the public Fridays from 8:30 am to 12 am, Saturday & Sundays from 8 am to 10 am.
Q. Do you need insurance to rent a space?
Exhibitors are responsible for obtaining their own insurance. Personal property is not insured by or through GIBRALTAR TRADE CENTER, INC. or the owner of the premises for either damage or loss, at any time and from any cause whatsoever.
Q. What is your average attendance?
It depends upon the trade show and the season. We enjoy an average weekend attendance of 12,000 to 20,000 customers each weekend.
Q. Can you sell food here?
Exhibitors must obtain permission from management to sell any food products prior to renting their booth or adding a food product to their non-food products line.
